Americans for Safe Access is a marijuana policy organization. Often called the ASA, they promote the legalization of marijuana. They are a non-profit organization. Furthermore, ASA promotes medicinal marijuana usage, as well as marijuana research.

In 2013, the Americans for Safe Access filed an unsuccessful legal complaint against the DEA for marijuana rescheduling.

However, the ASA recently filed a petition against the DEA for publishing misleading information regarding marijuana. As a result, the DEA removed this false information.
