Vermont Bill S.241 called for marijuana regulation in Vermont.

Individuals aged 21 or over can legally possess up to an ounce of marijuana. At the same time, edibles and public consumption are also considered illegal. Furthermore, S.241 aimed to redefine marijuana as cannabis.

The Vermont Senate passed the bill in 2016. Vermont’s House of Representatives consequently did not pass the bill.
